Vineyards are selling a wide range of wines - pinot noir, rose, merlot, marbec, chardonnay, methode traditionelle sparkling wine, riesling, gewurztraminer, pinot gris and St Laurent.
Samples of port made from pinot noir grapes will be available plus wine cocktails. It's going to be a great day.

Wine Stalls are still to be updated, but many of the last year stall holders will be back, plus a few new ones!

Clyde Village Vineyard John and Chris Cockroft started their small family-run boutique vineyard in 2003, planting a hectare on the side of hill overlooking the historic precinct of Clyde. (You can see the vineyard from the festival area.) They produce pinot noir and rosé. Judge Rock Wines Angela and Paul Jacobson began planting in 1998 on the outskirts of Alexandra. Most of the 4.5ha vineyard is pinot noir although an unusual ancient Burgundy variety, St Laurent , is also produced along with rosé, pinot gris, blanc de noir and port. Perseverance Estate Vineyard This family-owned vineyard in Airport Rd was named after a gold dredge built in 1886 which worked at Mutton Town Point on the Clutha River. The Hughes family planted vines in 2003 and produce pinot noir, pinot gris, rosé, chardonnay and riesling. Como Villa Estate The 1ha Earnscleugh Rd site was a vineyard in the late 1860s and was re-established in 2003 by Johnny and Pam Chapman. Several historic buildings are still in use including the cellar door. On sale at the festival is pinot noir, cabernet, merlot-malbec, riesling, and pinot gris. Station Brewery The brewery in Boundary Rd, Alexandra was opened last year by Grant Radka. He also brews for Oliver's in Clyde and has brewed on the West Coast, Queenstown and Samoa. Today Grant is bringing several varieties of beer including hazy IPA, Pilsner and drought. Alchemist Mixology Jaz and Alex returned from overseas after working in the hospitality industry. They saw a gap in the choice of drinks available at festivals and now create a range of New Zealand cocktails. The cocktails served at the Clyde festival contain wine from our local vineyards with non-alcoholic mixes. Grey Ridge Vineyard The 4.2ha vineyard in Letts Gully Rd, near Alexandra, was planted in pinot noir in 2003. It produces small quantities of award-winning wines — white pinot, pinot rosé and classic pinot noir. Owners Paul and Sue Keast also offer accommodation. Hawkdun Rise This small vineyard in Letts Gully Rd near Alexandra, Hawkdun Rise vineyard was planted in 1994, predominantly in Pinot Noir with a small amount of Gewürztraminer. The scale of the vineyard is just enough for the couple to manage “with a little help from my friends,” says John. Dunstan Road Wines The 2ha vineyard was established in 2002 and includes a small winery and tasting room. The grapes are mainly pinot noir with some pinot gris, gewürztraminer and riesling. A pinot noir rosé and methode traditionelle sparking wine are also produced. Thyme Hill Family-owned, it is the only vineyard in Central Otago producing merlot thanks to a north facing section with a warm microclimate which the grape loves. The 2ha vineyard is off Letts Gully Rd and was planted in 1993. A merlot and a merlot rose՛ are produced. Three miners Vineyard The 16.5ha vineyard in McPherson Rd, Earnscleugh, is named after the three miners who worked a gold claim on the vineyard’s Clutha River boundary. Planted in 2000 the vineyard is owned by Paul and Kirstin Wright who produce pinot noir, pinot gris, gewürztraminer, riesling and rosé. Pick & Shovel One of the Alexandra basin’s early vineyards, it continues the family tradition started by Bill Moffitt who planted Dry Gully Vineyard. Now run by his son, Stephen and Annie Winmill, the Earnscleugh Rd vineyard covers about 7ha and produces pinot noir, rose՛ and pinot gris. Ruru Vineyard Dutch immigrants Lucienne and Roland van der Wal bought the established 23ha block next to the Alexandra Golf Club in 2013. Vines were planted in stages from 2002 to 2016 and to the vineyard produces pinot noir, pinot gris, riesling, gewürztraminer and chardonnay. Monte Christo The birthplace of Central Otago winemaking with vines planted in 1863 by three Frenchmen - the Bladier brothers and Jean Feraud. The brothers soon departed for the West Coast leaving Feraud with the vineyard and he made the first wine produced in the region. The vineyard has a wine cave, accommodation, and a cellar door in the old winery offering .offering pinot noir, chardonnay, riesling and chardonnay Wiese Family Wines Wiese Family Wines were established in the Alexandra Basin in 2023 after Petrus Wiese and Daiana Penizzotto came to NZ in 2020. Both are winemakers who met while working in California. They discovered Alexandra and quickly felt at home in the community, making Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris from locally bought grapes. Omeo Vineyard The vineyard was established in 1998 on a north facing section in Earnscleugh. Omeo is named after a local stream and gully which were mined for gold in the 1860s. Bruce Shaw sold the vineyard late last year but still has grapes to keep making wine. He is bringing pinot noir and riesling to the festival.
